MTV is reporting that a spokeswoman for Edward Chernoff, an attorney representing Michael Jackson's interests, says that Jackson's personal Doctor Conrad Murray is not a suspect in any homocide investigation.
Murray's behaviour has been highly scrutinized by many in the media, focusing on the pain killers, and perscriptions that Jackson was ingesting in his final days. Much speculation has concluded that he was negligent in the least, and perhaps even acted criminally by perscribing and administering drugs drugs in California, where Murray is not liscensed to do so.
However, the Jackson attorney spokesperson insisted that Murray's statements were sought by police investigators only insofar as he is a wittness to the death of the King of Pop.
"I do not know what they are looking for, and I can't possibly tell you how anything they took in any way connects with the death of Michael Jackson," Chernoff told the times.
Dr. Murray had been hired as Jackson's personal physician, staying in Jackson's home up until his fatal heart attack. Murray was reportedly recieving upto $150,000.00 per month for his full time services.
At this time investigators have not ultimately determined a cause of death in the case, and seek continued statements from Murray regarding the events leading to Michael Jackson's death.
