Band Breaks Up On Myspace--World Weeps: Peter Hook of the band New Order confirmed the breakup of the band yesterday in a hastily scrawled myspace blog entry, and expressed his grief with this doleful analogy: "its like your budgie dyin!" The band's 58,000 friends (that's more than the Pope!) have been pouring in comments with their condolences.
