    As its been said ad nauseam, no Republican has captured the parties Nomination without first winning South Carolina since 1980. Of course that is a misleading fact in asmuch as it fails to account for the irrevlavnce of of victories by unopposed incumbents. That being said, The South Carolina Primary is crucial in this election cycle as it presents the one clear chance to stop the momentum of Frontrunner Mitt Romney.
