Students Adapt A Muggle Form Of Quidditch
Quidditch Comes To Life:
Students at St. Peter Interparish School in Washington D.C., have taken it upon themselves to adapt the magical sport invented by author J.K. Rowling for the "muggle" people.
Quiddithch was played by the students as part of a celebration for completing the school's summer reading program yesterday. Of course this muggle version did not entirely resemble what Harry Potter would play at Hogwarts with his classmates.
There were no flying brooms to be seen, and the non-magical muggles simply used one blue basketball for play. This form of Quidditch could be described as 'hockey on grass with broom sticks'. However, the muggle students did adapt the rules of the now Famous Rowling's game to bring in some more authenticity.
Dressed as wizards, the students ran up and down the field whacking the ball with broom sticks. I guess you could say, that this hardly qualifies as news at all.
